Kristin and Alberto’s relationship began during their college years, and after six years of building a life together, they celebrated their next chapter with an intimate St Pete elopement at the breathtaking Granada Terrace Park. It was a day filled with personal touches, joyful tears, and the warmth of close family and friends.

Though they shared the same major in college, Kristin and Alberto didn’t officially connect until a mutual professional opportunity brought them together. What started as friendly conversations soon blossomed into something more. Their first official date was a concert, and their connection has only deepened ever since.

When Alberto proposed, it was during a beach stroll while visiting Kristin’s family. With a quiet moment alone, he knelt down and asked Kristin to be his wife- an unforgettable moment followed by a joyful family celebration.

An Intimate St Pete Elopement

For their elopement, Kristin and Alberto wanted something intimate, romantic, and scenic. Granada Terrace Park was the perfect backdrop, with its iconic white arches, blooming bougainvilleas, and serene setting. The couple loved that the park itself served as natural decor, needing little else to create an elegant atmosphere.

Planning their day with Chantilly Chic Celebrations made everything feel seamless. Kristin shared, “The planning was so simple- it really could not have been any easier. It was such a weight off my shoulders, and everything went so incredibly smooth.”

As the Florida sun began to set, guests gathered beneath the arches. Their ceremony, officiated by Beach Side Weddings & Events, included personal vows that left not a dry eye in the crowd. After the ceremony, Kristin and Alberto shared their first dance to “Like a Star” by Corrine Bailey Rae beneath the golden glow of sunset.

Family photos followed, capturing moments with parents, extended family, and close friends. The couple then enjoyed a relaxed cake and champagne toast with a beautiful cake from Alessi Bakery. And Mariah Lacy Photography was there to document it all, ending the evening with romantic golden-hour portraits as Kristin and Alberto explored the park.

Reflecting on the day, Kristin shared, “With only a few simple back-and-forths and calls, we were able to have such a stunning elopement.” Her advice to other couples considering a St Pete elopement? “If you’re considering it, go for it! I can’t emphasize enough how amazing it was to focus on myself, my partner, and our intimate group of loved ones.”
