When I found Melanie in October 2018, I had already booked several vendors. My wedding date was in July 2019. My venue was in St. Pete, FL and we were still in Texas so I was a bit worried I had waited too long to find a wedding planner. All my worries were put to rest after my initial phone call with Melanie. We reviewed the different options and I decided the partial plan was best for me. I HIGHLY recommend this plan for anyone doing a destination wedding. Your overall budget is broken down and simplified, a timeline is set for choosing/reviewing vendors, a design board is created, and you have regular calls throughout the entire time to discuss progress/changes, etc. Communication was EXCELLENT. Even if I had something come up or had a question in between our monthly calls, Melanie was available and always responded quickly. We start working together 8 months out:
*Have an initial meeting to discuss budget, priorities and ideas for overall theme and event execution.
*Second meeting with couple to discuss design concepts, colors, themes and Pinterest boards.
*Site walk-through of ceremony and reception venues.
*We attend vendor meetings on your behalf to discuss design and concept and/or attend up to two vendor/client meetings. Vendors included with the design are florist, linen companies, chair/table/furniture companies and lighting companies.
*We present design ideas for you to choose from.
*We include quotes from several vendors for you to choose from based on the design and that are within your budget.
*Provide a detailed Budget Breakdown on design items only with payment schedule based on client's priorities.
*Package includes Event Management Package (8-weeks out).
